Arch Manning is entering his first-ever fall camp as a college quarterback. However, the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning landed his first NIL deal recently in a move to benefit charity.

Last week, Manning announced he entered an exclusive trading card partnership with Panini. The card — a Throwback Black Prizm 1 of 1 — went on a live auction with the proceeds from that sale going to benefit a Central Texas nonprofit with the help of St. David’s HealthCare and St. David’s Foundation.

The auction for that card ended on Saturday. According to ESPN, Manning’s card netted a final tally of $103,000 in the auction. That number makes Manning’s first card the highest-selling through Panini America’s website. The previous high was a 1-of-1 Luka Doncic card that sold for $100,000.

On one hand, it’s somewhat surprising to see that price tag for someone without a single regular-season snap under his belt. Manning also enters training camp behind Quinn Ewers on the depth chart with Ewers expected to take a big step forward in 2023.

Then again, Manning arrived at Texas as a 5-star QB and the top player in the country with all the hype that accompanies the Manning name. If he plays as expected when he sees the field, $103K might seem like a bargain down the road.
