Derek Mason pens letter to ‘Commodore Nation’ ahead of South Carolina opener

Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason is getting amped for the Commodores’ opener against South Carolina Thursday night.

On Monday, Mason penned a letter to the Commodore Nation about the opening game, urging fans to “show up in full force against South Carolina on national television.”

Mason tells fans to “answer the call” and be ready for the “white out” game against the Gamecocks.

An early SEC win over USC would be a great way to start the 2016 season on a positive note.
