It wasn’t pretty offensively for either side, but Mizzou’s 42-13 thumping of Florida at The Swamp last season left a bad taste in the mouths of several Gators, both returning and former players.

Linebacker Michael Taylor has a strange recollection of the Tigers, however.

They were too nice.

From InsideTheGators:

“The last two years we played them, they were just upstanding citizens. You would talk mess and would say something disrespectful to them and they were just like, ‘OK.’ They were just nice guys helping you off the field. And they were good, which kind of disturbed me. Like, ‘Say something, talk trash, do something.’ Don’t just be nice.”
Mizzou’s produced back-to-back SEC defensive players of the year winners and ranks first in the SEC in tackles for loss this season. Polite or not, this defense commands respect.
