Several true freshmen continue to make an impact this season around the SEC. Here’s a look at some of the biggest contributions from the past week:

Alabama: Calvin Ridley came up big in his first Iron Bowl, making 6 catches for 90 yards in the Crimson Tide victory. Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick had a tackle, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup while running back Damien Harris had a catch, a carry and a kickoff return to rack up 36 all-purpose yards.

Arkansas: Dre Greenlaw finished with 5 tackles as the Razorbacks closed out the regular season with an easy win against Missouri.

Auburn: Kerryon Johnson had 3 carries for 7 yards and a kickoff return for 26 yards in Auburn’s loss to rival Alabama.

Florida: Wide receiver Antonio Calloway had 2 catches for 16 yards while running backs Jordan Cronkrite and Jordan Scarlett combined for 5 yards off 2 carries as the Gators offense struggled all day.

Georgia: Wide receiver Terry Godwin led the Bulldogs in receiving in the 13-7 win against rival Georgia Tech. Godwin had 8 catches for 78 yards.

Kentucky: Defensive back Chris Westry wrapped up a solid debut season with 3 tackles in the Wildcats’ 38-24 loss to in-state rival Louisville.

LSU: Running back Derrius Guice had one of the best games of his first season, carrying the ball 10 times for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Tigers’ emotional victory against Texas A&M. Defensive end Arden Key added 8 tackles, including 1.5 sacks and also had 3 quarterback hurries.

Mississippi State: Running back Malik Dear had 3 carries for 30 yards and 2 catches for 20 yards in the Bulldogs’ Egg Bowl loss to Ole Miss.

Ole Miss: The Rebels didn’t get a major contribution from a true freshman.

Missouri: Drew Lock couldn’t get much going for the Missouri offense in coach Gary Pinkel’s final game. He completed 9 of 27 passes for 83 yards with an interception. He also carried 7 times for 17 yards. Punter Corey Fatony went to work eight times, averaging 40.2 yards per kick with a long of 51 and three downed inside the 20.

South Carolina: Lorenzo Nunez rushed 10 times for 75 yards and completed his only pass attempt for 2 yards.

Tennessee: The Volunteers started two true freshmen at linebacker, Austin Smith and Darrin Kirkland Jr. Kirkland had 3 tackles and a pass breakup while Smith didn’t have a tackle.

Texas A&M: Christian Kirk had 3 catches for 54 yards and carried the ball once for a 10-yard gain in the Aggies’ loss to LSU. Defensive tackle Daylon Mack had 2 tackles.

Vanderbilt: Quarterback Kyle Shurmur had one of the best games of his young career in the season-finale loss to Tennessee. He completed 15 of 34 passes for 209 yards and 3 touchdowns with an interception.
