Twitter is getting angry about all the lopsided bowl games
When it’s an SEC team running all over a poor team from another conference, blowouts are fun.
Otherwise, we’re looking for excitement during bowl season.
And for as much fun as it has been to watch the SEC win eight of the 10 games it has played so far, we do have to admit that there has been a lack of drama in a lot of these bowl games.
Both College Football Playoff games were decided well before the final whistle. Ole Miss crushed Oklahoma State in the Sugar Bowl and Stanford steamrolled Iowa in the Rose Bowl on Friday. Arkansas made easy work of Kansas State on Saturday.
So when Oregon started routing TCU on Saturday night, to the tune of a 31-0 lead at halftime, Twitter was over it.
That includes some prominent college football personalities:
I don't remember a bowl season in my life that was this unwatchable.

As many watch yet another Bowl Blowout, think about what you could have been watching. A SemiFinal CFB Playoff Blowout that really mattered!

As well as the regular Twitter peasants:

These bowl games are just flat out hard to watch! Another primetime blowout tonight!

Perhaps Alabama and Clemson will make up for all of these dud games with an instant classic in the national title game.
We deserve it.
