The NFL has announced its complete list of players invited to the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine that will take place from Feb. 23-29 in Indianapolis.

Out of more than 300 players, 74 of them were SEC players at some point in their college careers. That total of 74 is five more than the conference sent last season.

Alabama once again leads the way in representation with nine, one more than Auburn, Florida and Georgia, who are tied for second-most. Every SEC school is represented this year after Vanderbilt was left out in 2014.

Nationally, Ohio State has the most players invited (14) while Notre Dame is second with 10. Alabama’s nine is tied with UCLA for third-most.

The combine is a week-long event that kicks off the official start of NFL draft season. Over the course of those seven days, NFL scouts, general managers and the like will have plenty of time to watch draft prospects run through drills and get weighed and measured, as well as get the opportunity to interview players.
