Tennessee defensive end Derek Barnett was among Fox Sports reporter Bruce Feldman’s top 5 Heisman Trophy candidates after Week 5.

Here’s Feldman’s analysis on Barnett:

“Once again, the junior D-lineman helped bail the Vols out of a deep hole. His sack/forced fumble gave UT a lead at UGA and a few minutes later, he got pressure on Jacob Eason and forced an INT. Barnett’s leadership is also off the charts, as Tennessee finds its way back to prominence despite being without three of their best players on D.”

Barnett recorded five tackles, including two sacks, an assisted tackle for loss and a forced fumble which led to a touchdown during the Vols’ 34-31 win over Georgia. The junior leads Tennessee with four sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss.

Barnett is the only non-quarterback listed among Feldman’s top 5. Here’s a look at the entire list:

1. Lamar Jackson, Louisville, QB
2. J.T. Barrett, Ohio State, QB
3. Greg Ward, Houston, QB
4. Derek Barnett, Tennessee, DE
5. Mitch Trubisky, UNC, QB
