Senior Donald Gray figures to be the go-to guy within the MSU wide receiver corps in 2017.

With Fred Ross headed to the NFL, Gray returns as the team’s leading receiver. He finished second on the team (behind Ross) in receptions (41), receiving yards (709), and touchdowns (5), and led the team with a 17.3 yards-per-catch average.

Wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales tweeted out this awesome video of Gray making a spectacular catch in practice:

Gray ran a sterling route, as he broke beautifully towards the sideline — losing the defensive back in the process. Then, he leapt up and did his best Odell Beckham Jr. impression by snagging the ball out of the air with one hand.

Should Gray make plays like this in 2017, he’ll likely be in line for all-conference honors.
