Former electric Tennessee WR Cordarrelle Patterson has signed a deal with the Oakland Raiders.

Too bad Al Davis isn’t around to see this either, because he loved fast players like Patterson.

The Raiders signed him to a two-year deal, and Patterson is able to void the deal after a year, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

Patterson caught 52 passes for 453 yards and two touchdowns in 2016, the best year he’s had since his 2013 rookie season. In four seasons, Patterson has tallied 132 catches for 1,316 yards and seven touchdowns on offense, while adding 333 rushing yards and over 4,000 kick off return yards with five touchdowns.

If Oakland can figure out how to use Patterson as an offensive weapon, this could be a nice marriage, especially since Amari Cooper is already established with the Raiders.

The Vikings originally drafted Patterson with the No. 29 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
