Former Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs had a big game Thursday night leading the Steelers to a 17-14 win over Carolina.

Dobbs connected of 16-of-23 passes for 212 yards and one TD, hitting former Vols WR Justin Hunter for a 58-yard bomb. Dobbs only rushed for nine yards, but he scored the game-winning TD and even hopped over the goal line, something he was known for during his time at Tennessee.

The Steelers’ supposed backup QB, Landry Jones, completed 4-of-6 for 28 yards and one INT.

It will be interesting to see how Dobbs’ rookie season plays out.
