Could some good news finally be on the way for Tennessee?
The Volunteers are long overdue for some encouragement this season. The Vols are 3-3 on the season and have looked terrible while going 0-3 in SEC play. Tennessee even struggled to a 17-13 win over UMass earlier in the season.
Most fans have had it with head coach Butch Jones, and even the grocery stores in Tennessee have begun calling for Jones’ job. No decision has been made on Jones, but former Volunteer DL Albert Haynesworth sent out an interesting tweet on Thursday.
Here is a look at his tweet:
Great news is on the horizon for us VFLs!!! It is just a matter of when! Thank you Mr. Haslam for trying to make Tennessee great again! #VFL

It remains unclear what Haynesworth is referencing in this tweet, but he has been critical of Jones and the coaching staff throughout this season:
Now I hope everybody sees what I saw at the beginning of the season!!! I wasn’t bashing I was just stating the obvious! #VFLFOREVER pic.twitter.com/IVEpKRwLNg

Tennessee fans would love some good news, but they will likely have to wait to find out what Haynesworth is talking about.
