Ole Miss has apparently lost another player because of its NCAA bowl ban that was handed down on Friday.

This time, it’s a former 4-star recruit — and he’s set to lawyer up, as well.

Tre Nixon, a freshman wide receiver who redshirted in 2016 and caught one pass for 19 yards in 2017, is transferring out of the program, according to a tweet from Ole Miss beat writer Davis Potter.

He’s apparently seeking out the services of attorney Thomas Mars to assist in the process. Mars represented Houston Nutt in his lawsuit against Ole Miss.

Earlier on Monday, a report surfaced that said Nixon’s teammate, Jarrion Street, would also be transferring with the help of Mars. Safety Deontay Anderson is being represented by Mars, as well.

The Rebels landed Nixon, a Florida native, in their class of 2016. The consensus 4-star prospect was rated as the nation’s No. 35 wide receiver when he signed, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Nixon had an impressive offer list that included the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Florida State and Ohio State, among others.
