2 former SEC standouts hammer James Harrison after signing with the Patriots
James Harrison’s decision to sign with the New England Patriots is not sitting well with some of his former teammates.
Pittsburgh Steelers C and former Florida Gators OL Maurkice Pouncey addressed Harrison’s departure Wednesday, and Pouncey claimed that Harrison was off base in blaming the Steelers for his release. According to Pouncey, Harrison wanted out and used the situation to make it appear that the organization didn’t want him anymore.
Pouncey went on to say that he would not pin the blame on the team if he wanted to leave.
Reporter Josh Rowntree shared video of Pouncey’s full comments:

Things will likely get interesting if the Steelers and Patriots happen to face off in the NFL playoffs.
