Amid Signing Day festivities, Ole Miss adds 2019 JUCO CB Jamar Richardson
Last year, the Ole Miss Rebels thought they were getting a talented cornerback in Alabama native Jamar Richardson.
However, after enrolling, Richardson had to leave to go to a community college for a year, playing the 2017 season at Jones County Junior College in Mississippi.
Now, though, as the Rebels were focusing on their 2018 class, Richardson, a 2019 JUCO recruit at this point, announced he was recommitting to Ole Miss:
I would like to thank everyone at the University Of Mississippi for everything they have done & giving me another shot, furthermore I would like to say I’m recommitted to the University Of Mississippi ????‼️ #LandSharks @CoachMattLuke pic.twitter.com/iaQxzXJ5v0

Richardson was a 3-star player coming out of high school, and he’ll be heading back to Oxford next year.
There’s still time for him to change his mind, but for now, he’ll honor his original commitment to the Rebels heading into the 2019 season.
