Cassanova McKinzy is getting another shot at restarting his NFL career.

The former three-year starter at Auburn, who first joined the league a year ago with Tampa Bay, has signed a free agent agreement with the Washington Redskins, the team announced.

McKinzy was a key player at Auburn as he collected 258 tackles, 28.5 tackles-for-loss, and 8.5 sacks for the Tigers.

During his NFL career, McKinzy has already spent time with Tampa Bay, the LA Rams, and Washington. A hamstring injury cut short his time in Tampa, and this is his second stint with Washington as the roster spot was open after the team waived former Florida linebacker Alex McCalister.

McKinzy’s primarily resided on practice squads, and he was signed by the Redskins earlier this year.
