LSU’s offense has looked OK early against Miami. QB Joe Burrow has moved the football some through the air, but LSU needed a spark.

Senior RB Nick Brossette certainly provided that spark late in the first quarter. With no Derrius Guice or Leonard Fournette to lean on, it’s the perfect opportunity for Brossette to step in and fill a massive need.

With LSU and Miami knotted at 3-3, Brossette went untouched for a 50-yard house call. That’s how LSU gets momentum against the Hurricanes. Brossette looked like he was shot out of a cannon.

The Tigers lead Miami 17-3 with under 11 minutes in the second quarter. Brossette now has two rushing TDs.
