Don’t look now, but according to 247Sports.com, Texas A&M now has the top recruiting class in the country.

This comes following the decommitment of the nation’s No. 1 WR Jadon Haselwood from Georgia, which dropped the Bulldogs to No. 3.

The Aggies have 25 total commitments in their 2019 class, one five-star, 13 four-star’s and 11 three-star’s. Five-star OT Kenyon Green from Humble, TX, leads the class.

Jimbo Fisher has gotten off to a much quicker start in College Station than most people anticipated.

Fans realized quickly in Week 2 that this program was capable of a speedy turnaround. Texas A&M took No. 2 Clemson down to the wire at home, almost ruining their season before the Tigers escaped with a two-point win.

Now at 3-2 after a loss to No. 1 Alabama in Week 4, the Aggies have a chance to get back into the AP Top 25 with a win over No. 13 Kentucky at home this week.

Fisher is doing a good job with this Texas A&M team in his first year, but what’s exciting is the future in College Station.

Maybe that 10-year, $75 million was worth it.
