4-star DL Charles Moore has interesting explanation for choosing Auburn over LSU
Auburn picked up a big-time addition to its defense in 4-star DL Charles Moore Wednesday.
Moore, the Louisville, Mississippi, native had been committed to Mississippi State from August 2017 to January 2019, but things changed late in the process.
Moore’s decision came down to Auburn or LSU, and in the end, the Plains Tigers won out. Following his announcement, Moore had somewhat of an interesting explanation for why he chose AU over LSU.
The Clarion Ledger’s Tyler Horka had his comments:
“Auburn wasn’t the place initially that I wanted to go to because it’s in a secluded, country area. I wanted to live a flamboyant lifestyle. But actually, going to college isn’t about that life. When you go to college, that 3-4 years is to set you up for the rest of your life…”

Recruiting decisions are personal, and Moore feels as if there are more distractions at LSU as compared to Auburn.
Only time will tell, but Moore is certainly one talented player.
