College baseball season is in full swing, and once again, the SEC is loaded with elite teams.

In the latest D1 Baseball Top 25, nine teams are ranked in the top 25, with Georgia leading the way at No. 4. No. 5 Vanderbilt, No. 8 Mississippi State and No. 9 Texas A&M round out the top 10 for the conference.

LSU, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss and Florida are all ranked this week, too. Ten of the 14 teams have won 20 or more games.

Specifically within the conference, Georgia leads the SEC East with a 7-2 conference record, 23-5 overall. LJ Talley leads UGA with a .370 average, and he’s hit four home runs and knocked in 18 RBIs. Sophomore Emerson Hancock has been dealing this year on the mound and is leading Georgia with a 6-1 record and a ridiculous .98 ERA in 46 innings pitched. He’s almost been unhittable.

Here are the SEC East standings:

Texas A&M leads the SEC West with a 6-2 conference record, 23-6 overall. Junior infielder Braden Shewmake leads the Aggies in hitting with a .339 average and 30 RBIs. Sophomore pitcher Asa Lacy leads the team with a perfect 5-0 record and a 1.48 ERA in over 42 innings pitched.

There’s plenty of time left in the season for other teams to make up ground. The SEC baseball tournament starts Tuesday, May 21 and ends Sunday, May 26.
