The South Carolina Gamecocks have pulled out all the stops during the first half against Alabama, and the Crimson Tide still have the 24-10. lead.

South Carolina’s offense is having success, but its defense is having a tough time stopping Tua Tagovailoa, Najee Harris and company. That’s why USC is being so aggressive.

Gamecocks freshman quarterback Ryan Hilinski has completed 18-of-28 for 175 yards and one touchdown, and he looks pretty sharp.

Just before halftime, Gamecocks running back Rico Dowdle looked like he scored a touchdown, but the officials called him down near the goal line and there was no review. Will Muschamp was fired up about that, too.

Here’s what Will Muschamp said at halftime Saturday when asked about the non-touchdown just before halftime.

“I’m not gonna comment on that. If I comment on that I’ll get fined for the rest of my life!”
