Alabama signee Bryce Young took home another award in a decorated season ahead of moving to Tuscaloosa to start his college career.

The National Quarterback Club presented him with the High School Quarterback of the Year Award at a recent dinner event. This followed a host of other awards he’s received, including the California Gatorade Player of the Year, USA Today Offensive Player of the Year, LA Times Player of the Year, OC Register Player of the Year and the Trinity League MVP. Young was named the All-American Bowl National Player of the Year.

Young completed 294-of-409 passes for 4,528 yards and 58 touchdowns during his senior season. He also added 357 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns.

Recent winners of this award include Spencer Rattler, Bo Nix, Ryan Perriloux, Tim Tebow and Chris Leak. LSU QB Joe Burrow won the Collegiate Quarterback of the Year Award.

Young was ranked No. 6 nationally and the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback on the 247Composite.

Young helped his high school, Mater Dei, to a state championship in 2018 as a junior after throwing for 3,846 yards and 39 scores. He finished his high school career with 13,250 passing yards and 152 passing touchdowns to go along with 1,084 rushing yards and 26 more scores.
