NFL analyst Chris Simms compares LSU WR Justin Jefferson to NFL superstar
When the 2020 NFL Draft takes place in April, LSU WR Justin Jefferson could end up being a first-round pick.
He had a huge 2019 season as part of LSU’s historic offense, and now he’s ready to take on the challenges the NFL has to offer.
While reviewing some of Jefferson’s film, NFL analyst (and former QB) Chris Simms compared Jefferson to a faster Michael Thomas, the New Orleans Saints star:
🎞 Justin Jefferson
Damn why isn’t there more buzz around this guy. To me, he’s a faster version of Michael Thomas. Consistency, great route running, plays all over the field @LSUfootball @JJettas2 #NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/Rc2YwqnTgN— Chris Simms (@CSimmsQB) March 28, 2020
Thomas is one of the best receivers in the NFL, so that’s quite a comparison for Jefferson.
Jefferson recorded 111 catches for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2019. Can he keep that momentum going on Sundays this fall?
