The Florida Gators landed their 20th commitment for the class of 2021 Saturday evening.

Three-star safety Donovan McMillon (Canonsburg, Pa.) pledged his commitment to the Gators over Virginia Tech, Oklahoma and others. He shared his commitment in a video on his Twitter page.

The 6-foot-2, 193-pound defensive back is ranked as the nation’s No. 26 overall safety and the state of Pennsylvania’s No. 11 overall prospect for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The Pennsylvania native went on an unofficial visit to Florida on June 13, and it took him just over a month to announce his commitment.

McMillon’s size and athleticism jumps out immediately, and he projects as an impact player for the Gators. The Gators actually lost a commitment Friday night in cornerback Clinton Burton, as he flipped to Boston College.

McMillon became the Gators third safety commitment in the class of 2021, joining 4-star Kamar Wilcoxson and 4-star Dakota Mitchell.
