Feleipe Franks wasted little time before airing it out in his Arkansas debut on Saturday.

On the Razorbacks’ second drive of the day against Georgia, Franks threw a 49-yard touchdown pass to sophomore wide receiver Treylon Burks. Franks rolled out of the pocket to the left side, then threw across his body to Burks, who hauled in the pass near the left sideline around the 20-yard line, stayed in bounds and then scampered into the end zone.

It was Franks’ first touchdown since transferring to Arkansas earlier this year. He threw 38 touchdowns over the previous three seasons while at Florida.

Franks’ touchdown strike to Burks gave the Razorbacks a 7-0 lead with 8 minutes, 48 seconds to go in the first quarter. Arkansas is playing its first game under new head coach Sam Pittman, who is a former Georgia assistant.
