South Carolina is getting set for a trip to The Swamp this week to take on Florida as the Gamecocks look to bounce back from last week’s loss to Tennessee.

The Gamecocks dropped their uniform combination on Thursday afternoon in their latest “Battle Armor” video. As the video suggests, the Gamecocks will wear an all-white combination from helmet to pants for the noon kickoff in Gainesville.

Coach Will Muschamp will look to orchestrate a defensive gem when his team faces the suddenly high-flying Florida offense fueled by QB Kyle Trask and TE Kyle Pitts. The Gators are coming off a record-setting performance in a 51-35 victory at Ole Miss when the Gators gained their most yards (642) against a league opponent.

Pitts is a matchup problem for many defenses. Trask and Pitts were a two-man show, as they connected on eight times for 170 yards and four touchdowns. Pitts did his damage against linebackers, cornerbacks and scored from almost everywhere on the field.

“Kyle Pitts is probably the best tight end in the country,” Muschamp told reporters this week. “I would assume he is. Certainly, the best one we’ll see. Long, athletic, has speed, difficult matchup guy and has a good knack of getting open and finding space.”
