No. 6 Florida has a showdown with No. 1 Alabama next weekend in the SEC title game but first, the Gators will host LSU on Saturday in its home finale.

UF is breaking out blue end zones for the occasion, athletic director Scott Stricklin shared Friday.

This appears to be a new Florida tradition for the final home game of the season. The Steve Spurrier-Florida Field end zones were similarly blue for last year’s home finale against FSU.

Florida will again be donning blue jerseys, blue pants and orange helmets for this year’s Senior Day. Dan Mullen’s Gators are on a six-game winning streak, most recently defeating Tennessee 31-19. Florida’s lone loss came on the road at No. 5 Texas A&M on Oct. 10.

LSU is on a two-game losing streak, dropping games vs. Texas A&M and No. 1 Alabama.  Florida leads the all-time series 33-30-3 vs. LSU. Ed Orgeron’s Tigers won last season’s meeting 42-28.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (EST) and will be televised on ESPN.
