One week into the 2021 NFL season and former Alabama teammates Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle look to be in sync in Miami.

The rookie wide receiver was recently asked about any differences he sees in his quarterback. Waddle shared that Taogvailoa is being more vocal as an NFL quarterback.

Tagovailoa and Waddle were teammates together at Alabama for 2 seasons in 2018 and 2019. Tagovailoa declared for the 2020 NFL Draft, where he was picked by Miami with the No. 5 overall pick. In the following Draft, Waddle was the No. 6 overall pick.

Miami is looking to get into the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2016. Before then, the last time Miami went to the playoffs was in the 2008 NFL season. Last season, despite some up-and-down performances with Tagovailoa and the entire offense, the Dolphins had their first winning season at 10-6 since the 2016 season.
