Kentucky lands commitment from 4-star local WR, top in-state prospect
The Kentucky Wildcats landed a huge prospect when 4-star wide receiver Dane Key committed to UK Thursday afternoon.
He chose the Wildcats over Oregon, Michigan, and South Carolina. He’s the highest-ranked wide receiver to commit under Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops.

CatsPause.com spoke to Key’s high school coach, Nathan McPeek of Fredrick Douglas High School, in September:
“He is going to be a threat that can go up and get the ball in situations even when he is double covered with his length and his hands. It is hard to wrestle a ball away from him. He can run any of the route tree if they want. He is a good double move guy as well that can do a lot of things on the field. He is also good in the return game.”
Key is a big get for this Wildcats offense next year.
