College GameDay made history on Sunday when it announced that it would broadcast live from Cincinnati for the first time ever this week ahead of the Bearcats’ game with Tulsa.

The Bearcats are 8-0, and Tulsa is 3-5, but the discussion around the desk of the popular Saturday morning pregame show on ESPN will be if Cincinnati is deserving of a spot in the College Football Playoff.

“We will know exactly what the College Football Playoff Selection Committee thinks of the Bearcats, and we’ll react to it,” host Rece Davis said on social media, referring to the first official ranking coming out on Tuesday. “And it’s homecoming. I think Cincinnati’s probably going to be No. 2 in the first rankings, we’ll see about that. But you’re going to be No. 1 on Saturday morning.”
