Nick Saban provided an update on Sunday evening about the status of CB Jalyn Armour-Davis, who did not play in the Iron Bowl win on Saturday.

Alabama’s nickel corner made it through warmups, but watched the game from the sideline without his helmet.

“He had a little hip injury and wasn’t full speed,” Saban said on a Sunday media teleconference. “We’ll see how he responds this week and see if he can be able to play in this game, and that’s something that’ll be kind of day-to-day, as well.”

Armour-Davis leads the team with 3 interceptions, a total that is tied for fourth in the SEC and 20th nationally. He has also recorded 30 tackles, including one for loss, to go with 4 pass breakups and a quarterback hurry across 10 starts.
