Jackson State and Deion Sanders landed another huge recruit from another FBS school: South Carolina tight end Keveon Mullins.

Mullins, like most athletes these days, made the announcement via social media with the caption “New Beginnings.”

Mullins was a 4-star athlete coming out of high school in 2019 but didn’t see any playing time with the Gamecocks in 2021 and only played in one game against LSU in 2020, which may explain why he decided to move on to Jackson State. During his time in Columbia, switched positions from wide receiver to tight end.

Sanders has made a lot of noise this season by landing the No. 1 recruit in the country, and now by continuing to land big-time players from the FBS level like Mullins.

Mullins was the 7th player from South Carolina who had entered the transfer portal.
