SEC fans’ favorite FOX Sports analyst, who could also be described as a villain, is at it again with another opinion that’s bound to be unpopular in Alabama. Joel Klatt believes Ohio State has a stronger resume than Alabama in the event that USC slips up in the Pac-12 title game.

Klatt compares and contrasts the biggest wins for each team.

“Well for Alabama at least based on the AP poll, No. 21 Texas. OK good for you…” Klatt said. “Best win for Ohio State on the road in Happy Valley, a terribly tough place to play against a top 10 Penn State team. So like, check for the Buckeyes. And by the way, not even really close…”

Klatt threw out some more stats in favor of Ohio State.

“Before Saturday, Ohio State had beaten every team that they played by double digits. They were the only team in the country that could say that,” Klatt said. “Meanwhile, Alabama had been in 5 1-possession games. They were 3-2 in those games and probably should’ve lost 1 or 2 others. So it’s not even like they played that terribly tougher schedule (air quotes) and been all that much more dominant.”

Alabama is currently ranked No. 6 with a 10-2 overall record after defeating Auburn 49-27 in the Iron Bowl. Ohio State is ranked No. 5 after a 45-23 loss to then-No. 3 Michigan.
