Jamon Dumas-Johnson was a key piece for Georgia’s national championship run in 2022. Unfortunately, he was reportedly arrested Wednesday evening.

According to Seth Emerson with The Athletic, the linebacker was booked into Athens-Clarke County jail for misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and racing on highway/streets. Dumas-Johnson was released shortly after 7 pm ET.

We’ll see how Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs address this matter moving forward. Dumas-Johnson finished second on the Bulldogs with 70 total tackles in 2022 while adding 9 TFL, 4 sacks, 3 pass breakups and a forced fumble.
