The SEC Network will help Ole Miss players and fans re-live a memorable run to the College World Series last year when the Rebels ultimately captured the championship.

“Last In Last Out” will debut on SEC Network on Monday, May 22.

ESPN writer and narrator Wright Thompson, a favorite son of Oxford, said it almost didn’t seem real: “Ole Miss doesn’t win national championships.”

The title comes from the fact that the Rebels were the last team picked for an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament, and against Oklahoma, Ole Miss (42-23) became the 8th national champion since 2009 to come out of the SEC and 3rd straight.

One of the storylines for the Rebels throughout the season was the future of coach Mike Bianco, who was under fire in his 22nd year when his team sat at 22-17 overall and 7-14 in SEC play on May 1.

But Ole Miss edged out NC State for the final at-large bid and won on the road in the regionals and super regionals. The Rebels finished the season on a 20-6 run, including 10-1 in the national tournament.
