Karter Knox released a list of his Top 8 schools when it comes to his recruitment. The news was posted on social media on Saturday per On3 Sports’ Joe Tipton.

Knox is ranked as a 5-star small forward per the 247Sports Composite from the 2024 class. He is considering LSU, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Auburn out of the SEC. The other schools on his list include Florida State, USF, and Louisville.

Knox could end up taking a different route as the NBA’s G-League Ignite were also on his list.

The young small forward hails from Tampa, Florida and is the No. 8 overall prospect and No. 2 SF in his class. The other schools that have offered Knox are Arizona State, Illinois, and Boise State.

Knox has already visited with two of the teams on his list. Knox took a visit to Kentucky and Louisville back in October of 2022.

Auburn and LSU are the only SEC schools to have commits from the 2024 class so far. Auburn has the higher class of the two in the conference at No. 2 with 5-star PG Tahaad Pettiford committed.

Knox would be a nice first commit for either Kentucky or Arkansas. Saturday Down South will keep you updated on if any of these SEC schools can convince Knox to leave the state of Florida.
