Nick Saban provides injury update for Jase McClellan ahead of SEC Title bout

Nick Saban told reporters Thursday afternoon that standout running back Jase McClellan is questionable for the SEC Title game against Georgia this Saturday.
McClellan re-aggravated an injury in Alabama’s final drive against Auburn last weekend. He was listed as day-to-day by Saban following the game.
Here’s what Saban had to say on Thursday:
“He’s not been able to do a lot. I’d say that we’d have to say he’s probably questionable for the game at this point, but I think it’s probably too early to tell,” Saban said.
McClellan has been incredible for the Tide this season, rushing for 803 yards on 166 carries with 6 touchdowns. He has 13 catches for 126 receiving yards, too.
The duo of McClellan and Jalen Milroe has been dangerous for opposing defenses, but if McClellan is unable to go this will ease the burden for the Georgia run defense.
We’ll know for sure when the Tide take the field at 4 p.m. ET Saturday for the SEC title. The winner likely grabs a spot in the CFP while the loser, barring complete chaos, may be going home.
