WATCH: Minkah Fitzpatrick scores first NFL TD on impressive pick-six
Former Alabama DB Minkah Fitzpatrick has been solid for the Miami Dolphins this year, but the first-round pick finally made a huge play for his team on Sunday.
Trailing the Minnesota Vikings 21-0, the Dolphins were once again on defense, trying not to go down by four scores. Fortunately, Fitzpatrick changed the momentum with one big play.
As you can see below, he jumps an attempted screen pass by Minnesota QB Kirk Cousins and takes it to the house:

That’s about as easy as it gets when it comes to a pick-six, but Fitzpatrick made the right play by jumping the route before it even developed.
That was his second interception of the year, and his first NFL touchdown. Based on his skill set, though, we’re guessing it won’t be the last.
