Chris “Pooh” Paul Jr. intends to enter the transfer portal.

The veteran and starting Razorbacks linebacker leaving is a huge blow to Arkansas. Paul totaled 72 tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. He was named to the Butkus Award watchlist and earned Freshman All-American and First-Team All SEC Honors during his time at Arkansas.

Paul redshirted his freshman season in 2021, so he will have 2 seasons of eligibility remaining.

Here’s his post announcing his intent to transfer when the portal opens on December 4.

Paul is the 2nd Arkansas player to announce his intent to transfer this offseason, joining DB Jaylen Lewis. Wide receiver Sam Mbake also transferred after being dismissed from the team.

The Razorbacks got plenty out of Paul, who exits Fayetteville with 137 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 6 sacks and 1 forced fumble under his belt.
