Former Auburn RB Tre Mason has reportedly resolved charges from a March incident in Hollywood, Fla.

AL.com’s Mark Inabinett reports that Mason updated his plea from not guilty to nolo contendere (no contest) on charges of resisting an officer, possession of marijuana under 20 grams and failure to register a motor vehicle. As result of the new plea, Mason has resolved the charges by paying a fine of $293. Mason originally faced two other charges, failure to yield the right of way and reckless driving, but those charges were resolved via dismissal and abandoned prosecution respectively.

The traffic stop incident was the start of a troubling offseason for Mason that saw him in the headlines for bizarre behavior and concerns about his wellbeing made by family members. He remains on the Los Angeles Rams reserve/did not report list.
