Behind his pads? The guy saw him coming and tucked in with his shoulder and got leveled. It wasn't even a block in the back and I have no skin in this game.
Obviously neither of you have watched an Arkansas game. Ask Austin Allen about optional Olines.
The first comment is actually one of common sense. Well done! Very well done!
Here is a rundown of Alabama's scoring drives that were gift wrapped courtesy of our offensive play tonight: First Quarter 5 plays, 29 yards, 1:48 Second Quarter Tim Williams 23 Yd Fumble Return (Adam Griffith Kick) Third Quarter 4 plays, 18 yards, 1:26 4th Quarter Minkah Fitzpatrick 100 Yd Interception Return (Adam Griffith Kick) All they could? Three interceptions is all they could? One of which was a pick six. How many times did the defense force a turnover and the offense didn't capitalize? 24 points on the board just from the offense giving them the ball on turnovers. So yeah, the offense did everything they could tonight. Never mind that Austin Allen threw three interceptions. I'll listen to arguments that the interceptions weren't entirely his fault since he had defenders in his face all night long. That offensive line looked like swiss cheese, but we kind of knew that was coming give the play up to this point. There is no doubt that Austin Allen is a beast. The man has so much fight in him it is incredible to watch, but they are going to flat get him killed out there behind that monstrosity they call an offensive line. You can't keep giving the #1 team in the country opportunities to score on a short field and then pin the blame on the defense. They didn't even really have a chance.
