The only change I would love to see with Alabama's helmets is the crimson and white inverted. I love Bama's classic look. Crimson numbers and white background would be an alternate that would perfectly fit because it keeps the classic look. The Florida helmet shown here and the Gators script logo actually looks best for us! I wish Alabama the best of luck in their game.

This is not causing pussification of the sport. Have any of you ever had a concussion? I have 1 time. Research shows that while you recover from it, the damage that occurred remains. Each successive concussion accumulates even more brain damage. 1 hit to the forceful hit to head too many can be fatal. The players of today are a lost faster than those that played in the 1980s. This really is a player safety issue. There are still a lot of hard hits that are perfectly with in the rules. If players delivered the hard hits in the correct way fundamentally, then we would not have these issues. At the collegiate level, this means either the current coach or a past coach has not properly did their job. I am all for improving player safety.

The best way to fix this problem to start making use of the State Attorney's Office or the District Attorney's Office. This needs to happen through out the nation. Only when they begin handing out jail time for Battery will this nonsense cease!

Gurley should be cleared to play NOW! Yes, Gurley broke the rules just as Freitag did. Gurley only committed a misdemeanor rules violation. Freitag committed a capital rules violation. Most dealers also use, so this could very well be a life time ban for Freitag! However, the NCAA is the least of Freitag's problems. Decades in prison is in Freitag's future.
