I've always thought we'd be okay more or less without Smart. I mean he's definitely a huge part of the defense but any DC that comes in will need to know that Saban really is in charge.. You're just the one to make sure it gets coordinated properly... Haha

Haha... And Georgia hires Kirby Smart out of the gate... As early as Sunday... I am a HUGE Alabama fan but this is not a smart move to me. Taking a guy with zero headcoaching experience and putting him at the helm of a powerhouse SEC school that just fired their head coach because winning seasons aren't good enough... This is exactly the kinda hire this article was pointing to. I wish Kirby Smart a lot of good luck. He definitely deserves. It's definitely a very risky move. Guess time will tell... RTR.

I definitely don't look at this as a trap game. A trap game would indicate that we are less than prepared or in a mindset that MSU is weak or could be looked past. Coach Saban is not going to let the players look past MSU. I truly don't think that players are of the mindset this year where they will be looking past any opponent. I feel like the win over LSU will truly give the defense the confidence to play their best and bring it hard on the road. It doesn't matter how good their offense is they will still have to stop Henry and Ridley and Coker. It's gonna a be a show. Alabama is not a on trick pony... I expect MSU to try hard and maybe even get close at times but with Alabama's depth and skill in the end I think we'll win by 10 at least. We'll see....RTR.

I don't really know about this sort of thing but wouldn't there be some kind of obligation by the players to actually play if you're getting a scholarship..? If they didn't play wouldn't there also be some repercussions to them directly in the form of losing scholarships for not fullfiling whatever that obligation was? Like I said I don't know all the legalities involved but that's usually how a breach of contract works in the real world....

This game has got me waking up in cold sweats with visions of Mt. Cody's huge arm blocking the game winning kick... Anyone remember a little game which also took place in Bryant Denny back in 2009? I believe that was a game that the Tide was supposed to pretty easily walk away from as well..... Guess we'll see. Roll Tide!

Why does SDS keep over hyping these injuries for Bama? There were a couple guys out, which will probably be good to go by Saturday. Even if they weren't Alabama has NFL talent like 3 deep in most position groups. SMH...

This sounds like someone wanting to rock the boat and make themselves look like the "knew it all along". I know sometimes there may be so inconsistencies in officiating but I don't thinks it's a conspiracy.
