So done w/ Cal, so while not an “A list” guy, we will welcome Coach Pope. Might be dreaming a bit, but hoping his friendship w/ ex-teammate Jeff Sheppard might keep Reed around another year.

Good list summary…Here’s votes for #2 & #3 - heck, maybe we could lure Rick Barnes? Razorback friends - beware of false promises from Cal. In the last 7 years, he’s lost too many games despite have way more talented players on the floor.

I say congrats to GA. At least they’re still playing. Cal will continue to embarrass UK fans w/ inexplicable losses. Should’ve fired him. Sad for us, while SEC laughs at us (rightly so).

Kentucky used to be the bell cow for men’s SEC basketball. Thanks to Cal, that’s no longer the case. He has to go! Only A&M, Bama + UT left. No way Power 5 confs should have more teams in the Big Dance.

Ditto - Coach Saban’s presence made the SEC a better conference. Hope Bama fans can take a breath and appreciate the last decade +. Best wishes for Coach to enjoy the retirement years.

Very fair evaluations. With the exception of Louisville, UK did not beat a team with a winning record this year. Not progress. Coaches must be more aggressive - especially when “protecting” a lead.

The phrase "St. Peter's" will haunt us for decades - as it should. No excuse for that embarrassment other than poor coaching. Pulling a Virginia-type turnaround is a nice thought, but Cal's on the downhill slide and dragging the basketball program down with him.

Well-stated...yes, it's time to change before the next Cal produced embarrassment to UK & the SEC. But we're stuck with him for a while unfortunately.
