Artificial noisemakers were banned years ago. The only exception is MSU which is unfair to every other SEC team. If enough hell is raised and/or a lawsuit was filed against the SEC and MSU it would put an end to that tradition. It’s all about equality. Also, the SEC should impose a large fine for each instance within every game that that even one cowbell is heard directly my a play. A $20,000 fine per instance. I believe State would stop letting any cowbells in the stadium if they have to pay such large fees. Our game alone would probably top the scales over 6 figures. State would put an end to cowbells very quickly.

Our D line of one of the strengths of our defense. The reason we are ranked so poorly in rush defense is not because we allow RB a lot of years but mobile QB's have gashed us for a lot of yards. We are incredibly Deep and quick of the line. We've just played a very tough schedule with several really good running QB's and an option team. Those rankings and stats are very misleading.

What's laughable is that Hugh Freeze has elevated us to that level and either you can't stand it or are too blind to see it. I could keep going on and on by naming how many of our all-Americans and future 1st rounders not playing in those games to help Bama get where they are today. However, the bottom line is Bama is not the best team in the West or SEC because that was proven in early September with nearly 100,000 of its own fans witnessing it or shall I say witnessing a half a game of it before they got the point and starting fleeing for exits in droves. We can sit here and debate back and forth all night and I know that you going to go back to who went to the SEC Championship Game and who has the trophy to prove it? What I would say to that is you have to go no further back than The game of the Century Episode 1 and 2! If I recall it correctly LSU beat Bama in Tuscaloosa and went on to the SEC Championship game and brought home the trophy which I'm sure is sitting somewhere in Baton Rouge at this moment but the National Championship Trophy is in Tuscaloosa after Bama beat LSU in the National Championship Game. CASED CLOSED!

The problem with Kevin Sumlins recruiting, although he has had top 10 recruiting classes, is that he recruits offensively and doesn't concentrate on the defensive side of the ball. He recruits like 99 1/2 wide recievers and not one defensive lineman??? Take Hugh Freeze for example........Freeze is known as an offensive coach but his first actions he took was to build the defense. In the SEC, unlike the BIg 12, defense is a must!! You HAVE GOT TO PLAY NOT GOOD BUT GREAT DEFENSE! No buts about it. Sumlin will never see it that way. However, I do think TAMU has a great shot at becoming dominant if they can find someone with the correct plan. They can cherry pick the state of Texas now that they're in the SEC. So that will take a lot away from UT over the course of a few years. UT has been the one to cherry pick the state in years past and they still couldn't become dominant just think how bad they'll be with TAMU taking over the recruiting of Tx.

I pray you're right. Ole Miss' run game depends on the ability of its OL to pull successfully. What really concerns me is a couple of those guys (or at least one) seem to be overweight a destination unable to make those pulls. Or so it seems. I pretty much agree. I do have concerns about both State and Ole Miss though. For Ole Miss the Auburn fame scares me because if we have anything to be concerned about then it's definitely our rushing defense and that's Auburns strength. For State the aTm game would be the major concern because of there's a weakness it's definitely the pass defense and passing is aTms bread and butter. However, I think both State and Ole Miss are superior more well - rounded teams then either aTm or Auburn. aTm and Auburn both have been anything but impressive on D. I would absolutely love for the egg bowl to be the deciding factor in who wins the West! Does anyone know if that's ever happened before?
