Florida is keeping the Mr. Two Bits tradition alive in memory of superfan George Edmondson.

The Gators will have three members of the Florida’s ROTC program honored as part of the Saluting Those Who Serve game against Arkansas. Alexander Quinones, Gabrielle Sasson, and Eric Pugh are the recipients.

Pugh has never been on the field before and can’t wait for the opportunity.

“I have never really been on the field before,” Pugh said via a press release. “The thought of being in front of 90,000 fans, to where everyone knows what is going on, just sounds electric.”

Edmondson passed away in 2019, but his tradition still lives on in Gainesville. After Edmondson’s passing, Florida has had an honorary Mr. Two Bits since 2013.

Florida is 10-2 all-time against Arkansas. The teams last played in 2020 with the Gators winning 63-35.

The game will be kicking off at noon ET on ESPN2 live from Gainesville.
