Georgia is the predicted landing spot for an SEC wide receiver expected to transfer.

Robbie Weinstein of 247Sports reported on Saturday that Vanderbilt WR Landon Humphreys is expected to enter the portal after 1 season with the Commodores.

Humphreys was a product of Nashville (Tenn.) CPA and a former 3-star receiver in the 2023 class. He went with his hometown Commodores to play college football.

The Vanderbilt wideout saw the field as a freshman. He accounted for 439 yards receiving and 1 touchdown in 12 games played.

The Commodores and Bulldogs had 2 very different seasons this year.

Vanderbilt got off to a 2-0 start, but then lost its next 10 games. On the flipside, Georgia is trying to win its 3rd straight national championship after a 12-0 regular season finish.

The Bulldogs weren’t one of the SEC teams that showed interest in Humphreys as a recruit. Vanderbilt, Auburn, and South Carolina all offered the prospect.

Maybe Humphreys will be watching the SEC title game as he thinks about his next move.
