Mike Bobo has not had the greatest start in his latest stint as Georgia’s play-caller. The Bulldogs are opening the 2023 season against UT Martin, but you wouldn’t know that from the score.

Halfway through the 2nd quarter, the Bulldogs had mustered just 106 total yards of offense. Safe to say, Georgia fans were not happy with the start.

Here’s a sample of their reaction, as multiple fans described the developments as “trash”:

Bobo was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the Bulldogs from 2007-14. The coach then got the head job at Colorado State, where he stayed until 2019. Since 2020, Bobo has held assistant gigs at South Carolina and Auburn.

Georgia reunited with Bobo for the 2022 season, bringing the coach in as an offensive analyst. After Todd Monken left Georgia for the Baltimore Ravens this offseason, Bobo was promoted to the offensive coordinator position once again.

The Bulldogs are holding on to a 14-0 lead over the Skyhawks with less than 3 minutes to go in the first half.
