Mike Bobo and the Georgia offense got off to a fast start, but since the opening drive, the Bulldogs have sputtered.

Georgia scored on its opening drive as it went 8 plays and 83 yards as Kendall Milton scored from 17 yards out. But since then, the Bulldogs sputtered and had back-to-back punts and then a missed field goal.

Georgia had 143 total yards in the 1st half, but just 60 of those came after the first drive.

Carson Beck was largely efficient, although he was sacked on the drive that ended with a missed field goal. Beck started 8-for-11 passing for 85 yards. Some fans lamented that star tight end Brock Bowers had just 3 targets in the first half, and he made 2 catches for 20 yards.

After Alabama scored to build a 17-7 lead, Georgia ran a couple plays to close the half, but didn’t get past the 35-yard line.
