Ric Flair’s college football allegiance no longer resides in the SEC. In fact, he’s gone out of his way to get off some shots at the SEC and SEC Network host Paul Finebaum this season.

Fans likely remember Flair was, at one time, a fan and supporter of Georgia. In recent seasons, he has been backing Michigan and head coach Jim Harbaugh, and he even put out a special Saturday morning video to pump up the Wolverines for the Big Ten Championship.

Flair was also busy after Georgia dropped the SEC Championship Game to Alabama in nail-biting fashion. The wrestling legend said the Bulldogs “were dragging” in Atlanta and attributed that fact to Finebaum’s head being “so far up their ass.”

“I couldn’t help but notice that the Georgia Bulldogs were dragging,” wrote Flair on social media. “Maybe it’s because you had your head so far up their ass (Finebaum)! Go Blue! WOO!”

Earlier this season, Flair and Finebaum exchanged other barbs due to coverage of the sign-stealing investigation at Michigan. Flair particularly called out Finebaum as a “non-athletic” journalist.
