Sony Michel explains why high school athletes should stop 'corny commitment tactics'
So far, Wednesday’s National Signing Day has been full of commitment-table antics, from 4-star Georgia signee Quay Walker throwing a Tennessee hat to 4-star WR Jacob Copeland’s mom walking off the stage when he chose Florida.
Though things of that nature may be funny at the moment, they won’t be forgotten by other teams. They also won’t be forgotten by players in that commit’s own locker room.
Former Georgia RB Sony Michel tweeted on Wednesday that recruits need to stop the commitment antics, because they’re only going to get made fun of in the locker room when they arrive on campus:
ATTENTION ALL RECRUITS? stop all the corny commitment tactics cause you will get yo ah roasted in the locker room once you get there ???????

That’s a good point, and Michel spent the past four years in Georgia’s locker room, so he knows what the incoming players can expect.
Michel won’t be there to make fun of Walker’s hat toss next year, though, but maybe he’ll poke fun at him on Twitter.
